Cory Simmons-Edler is a third year student at Rutgers School of Law- Newark and a Senior Editor with the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal. Cory focuses his study on corporate, nonprofit, financial, and securities law. He is also a member of the Rutgers Community and Transactional Law Clinic Management Team, and has successfully organized several nonprofit businesses; guiding them through New Jersey State registration requirements, and the Federal Tax system. In a complementary role, Cory is a Research Assistant to Prof. Sarah Dadush on matters related to social finance, and nonprofit corporate regulation. Additionally, Cory is President Emeritus of Rutgers Federalist Society, Vice-Magister of Phi Delta Phi Honor Society, and participates in the Rutgers Bankruptcy Pro Bono Project. He holds a B.A. in English Literature from NYU, and is an active member of the New York City Bar Association.
